It's all about creating what I call 'lifestyle satisfaction'. This is a balance between a commitment to seeing the quality of the present moment and to enjoy it (regardless of what is happening) and a commitment to creating a result or an outcome that inspires you.
Most people have neither, or a lot of one or the other. Many people have this amazing commitment to creating a result or an outcome however they work excessively, they put in a lot of overtime and then find themselves burned out and exhausted. Maybe you do this too? In doing this, what happens is we become disconnected from the people that we love, we leave ourselves feeling unwell and forever dissatisfied with the way things are.
Alternatively, many people have a wonderful commitment to seeing the quality of the present moment and to enjoy it. Though I aspired to people who have achieved this the problem is that often this leads to feelings of dissatisfaction, because they cannot say that they are effectively giving back to the world or expressing themselves though some form of a created product or delivery of a service.
Those who become good at 'enjoying the quality of the present moment' might be stuck behind a till in a supermarket or some other nine to five job. I am not saying that this couldn't be a fulfilling career or life choice, It could be for you.
But for others, this could mean settling for the way things are. That is a commitment to seeing the quality of the present moment and to enjoy it is leaving you settling for so much more of a lesser lifestyle than what is truly available to you.

However, if we create a synergetic balance between a commitment to 'enjoying the quality of the present moment' and a commitment to 'creating a result or an outcome that is inspiring', then we have what I call 'lifestyle satisfaction'. Mastering this will enable you to really dream your dream lifestyle (whatever that may be), to become really inspired by where you want to live, the house you want to have, the car you want to drive, your health, how close you want to feel to your loved ones and dream about a completely fulfilling daily lifestyle routine. Once you become inspired by this your present moment becomes ever more inspiring as you can then rest in to knowing that you are making the most of this present moment while also enjoying thoughts that your lifestyle is only ever going to get even better every day.
Take ten minutes now to dream your dream lifestyle. When once you have done this, write down a list of three actions you are going to take to fulfil on this. With those actions in front of you, you have the excitement of knowing that if you take those actions you are going to be steps closer (those three actions closer) to fulfilling your aspirations and dreams. Couple that with a commitment to seeing the quality of this moment and to enjoy it, and there you have what I call 'lifestyle satisfaction', or in other words, an 'empowered state of being' which is the very key to ultimate success.
